Paul Glover is the founder of the Ithaca Hours , one of the first local currency systems.[1] [2] He is also the founder of the Philadelphia Orchard Project,[3]Citizen Planners of Los Angeles,[4]the Ithaca Health Alliance,[5]and several other organizations.

He is author of six books on community economic development,[6]a former professor of urban studies at Temple University[7], currently teaching Ecological Economics[8] at Philadelphia University.

He consults as Greenplanners[9]and speaks on community economic development.[10]

And he ran, in in 2014, as the Green Party candidate for the governor of Pennsylvania
