What Should A Constitution Be

What Should A Constitution Be.

Understanding the Foundation and Need For Constitutions.

History teaches Us, that in ancient times Cuneiform writing was developed to keep a record of important information, that had previously been the responsibility of Human Memory.

The "Urantia Book" teaches that, before written, or recorded, history, writing was introduced to Humanity by Celestial Beings sent by God, but that this process was interrupted by the "lucifer rebellion", about five hundred thousand years ago.

Much could be speculated about the causes of the first Cuneiform writing of Sumer. But it is enough for me to know that it was the beginning of Human writing that eventually found its way from clay tablets to velum and papyrus. From impressions, to the application of ink.

The first records to be inscribed, included agreements. Contracts of mercantile and trade transactions and then agreements within the processes of governance; decisions of law.

One of the intentions, of these records, was to maintain Truth and accuracy of the information and another was to serve as a binding reminder and source of information, of what was agreed.

City Building Humans tend to place "great store" on the written word, while Peoples closer to Nature maintain the skills and practice of the spoken word and memory work.

Constitutions are traditionally written documents of agreement and commitment between Leaders and Followers, but it is plausible that a constitution could be agreement and understanding of the relationships between Many (majority) of a sovereign nation's "citizens", if they are their own leaders.

This writing is only the opening action, by one person of many. It is important that this first effort, to begin to develop and establish, the necessity for an American Constitution, be responded to by as many American Citizens as possible.

Here is a reasonable, (or so it seems to me) definition of the word "constitution"(copied and pasted from the internet):

con sti tu tion

noun: constitution; plural noun: constitutions

  1. a body of fundamental principles or established precedents according to which a state or other organization is acknowledged to be governed.

synonyms:

charter , social code, law ;

bill of rights;

rules, regulations, fundamental principles

"the constitution guarantees our rights"

o           the basic written set of principles and precedents of federal government in the US, which came into operation in 1789 and has since been modified by twenty-seven amendments.

singular proper noun: Constitution; noun: the Constitution

  1. 2. the composition of something.

"the genetic constitution of a species"

synonyms:

composition, makeup, structure, construction, arrangement, configuration, formation, anatomy More

Before I continue this foundational work for Our New American Constitution, I would like to know as many opinions as possible, about this definition. Is it acceptable to all who read this?

Is this definition adequate to the following structure design of a constitution?

Is there something you would like to change?

Is there something you would like to add?

Is there something in it, that needs to clarified?

None of the above?

Some of the above?

All of the above?

Please help me determine what a constitution should be?

Please comment?

"White" male. 70 years old. Politically an eclectic, (confused?) mix of Conservative and Progressive. Have a dislike for capitalism, as it is practiced in the United States and as it is used to promote the tyranny of the new world order. (more...)
