This isn’t just a one-off. America has a neo-Nazi problem and a president who refuses to acknowledge it.The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is tracking more than 900 hate groups in the U.S. As of last year, the number of total hate groups was up by 17% since 2014. In their recent study, it was up even more. The Washington Post reported in February of this year:White supremacists “were responsible for 49 homicides in 26 attacks from 2000 to 2016 … more than any other domestic extremist movement.”
