For the second year in a row, American students won the International Math Olympiad, besting competitors from around the world! About 100 nations send teams of their top students to compete. The next positions in the team competition were taken by Korea, China, Singapore, Taiwan, North Korea, Russia, UK, Hong Kong, and Japan. "Do you think you will read about this in the mainstream media? Or in the media owned by the corporate reformers, whose stock in trade is bashing America's students and teachers?" says Diane Ravitch?
