He now says it's a "major problem in journalism and corporate media, particularly on today's cable and television news." The late Communications Professor George Gerbner (1919 - 2005) once said "they have everything to sell and nothing to tell." And famed comedian Ernie Kovacs (1919 - 1962) once explained why television is called a medium - "because it's neither rare or well done."
