Step 12. De-fund the "Path to prosperity." (Not only an easy way to control populous but one that is economically strapped and unemployable with no State-funded higher education.)
Step 13. Deflate American consumer power. (Stop relying on Americans to buy things. With a global market and a U.S. consumer debt at 2.5 trillion, the goal here is to deem irrelevant any kind of consumer strike or backlash.)
Step 14. Avoid the national investment in U.S infrastructure. (Very expensive and would hand significant power back to the worker. This could un-do all the corporate gains up to this point.)
Step 15. Move all telecommunication public relations jobs overseas or any job that can be executed via phone or computer. (More of the de-valuing of the American employee/consumer. Less jobs = more control over the labor field.)
Step 16. Keep health care expensive. (Keep good health a luxury item, like a wide-screen TV. The biggest problem for the rich is that they get sick and die too. They feel they should live longer BECAUSE they have more money.)
Step 17. Use economic emergency and high unemployment to de-regulate climate/pollution correcting policy. (Like infrastructure investment, it's expensive and reduces profit. Continue to blame government for all our ills -- not corporate owed government, rather, the so-called tax-ers and regulators of government.)
Step 18. Media compliance. (This right-wing propaganda machine full of wealthy "reporters" will continue to divide the nation against itself. This is the lying machine that can dupe the uneducated masses into believing that our ills are someone else's fault. And keep the rich out of the conversation.)
Step 19. Keep the police and the military on the side of the wealthy. (There will be no union busting here, as someone has to protect against the inevitable revolution, and as for the military, that's where the really good paydays are for defense contractors and their supporters.)
Step 20. A re-write of the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights. (This ultimate goal of control and exploitation will have most Americans begging for security at the price of all our freedoms. We saw a glimpse of this after 9/11 when we heard all the time "I would gladly surrender my civil rights if it makes things safer for me and my family." This is check-mate. This is slavery. This is aristocracy and a police state because you can't have one without the other.)
