Without rhyme or reason, some other emotionally disturbed child who might have been bullied or who might have a severe, untreated case of manic depression or paranoid schizophrenia is looking over the Internet for deals on assault rifles, or shotguns, or handguns, and he or she might even be planning out ways in which to make homemade bombs.
It's hard to imagine or emotionally navigate what these distraught and left-behind children are thinking or why they're thinking such things; but Texas, you can do something great this week to show your disdain for all the NRA stands for in making access to lethal firearms so easy, so easy a kid can purchase them!
Let's see the great Lone Star State take a stand against this senseless murder of these innocent children sometime soon. Texas let's see that beautiful Lone Star on your tees, jackets, and flags as you rally against this horrid bloodshed! Take a stand! Take back Texas! Let's stop this insanity and seemingly unending series of ongoing violent events at the places where we send our children to learn, prosper, and develop into mature adults.
There's been a lot of squawk about limiting doors at schools, arming trusted teachers and school administrators with firearms to be ready in the case of an attack of vile insanity at our elementary-, middle-, and high-school institutions in this country. But it's also time that we take a good look at the Second Amendment and scale it down from the Megalodon monster that it currently is -- by placing some sound, sane, workable caveats and limitations to this bloody and diabolical dragon - that is killing us all, if not physically, emotionally and spiritually. It's time to cast votes to unseat federal leaders -- both Republican and Democrat -- who have avowed a blind obedience to the NRA, the National Rifle All association with the sicko appetites of a modern-day vampire.
And it's time to "Just say no to Trump" and all he stands for in his insane, miles and miles from teleprompter chitter-chatter about bullying, acting out violently, and "getting them before they get us" general attitude.
