If desperate people continue to "treat" themselves, or contact wrongheaded and opportunistic-- even, rebellious-- physicians and get "treated" in unapproved ways, a magnitude more desperate people will hurt themselves. And worse, extreme rebels of the right-wing will find continuing justification for their pushing conspiracy theories about CoVid-19, and conflating those with the Trump-and-Bannon-pushed lies that are INTENDED-- Bannon told us flat-out, as early as Trump's President-Elect period-- to disrupt American democracy.
Dr. Goebbels would have been much elated by Bannon, Trump, Gen. Flynn, Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and the whole cabal of liars. They have hammered on the lies, including the Big Lie-- that the election of 2020 was stolen from Trump by fraud-- until something around half the voting population has apparently bought the whole ball of wax, and until even medical doctors, who theoretically should be the most responsible citizens in our entire society (next to airline pilots!), are conducting open rebellion against proven methods of battling a deadly disease that grips the entire globe.
I'm as shot-up as a person can be, 2 Modernas plus the Booster. I've had plenty of vaccines in my life, and I have never contracted any of the diseases which those vaccines were supposed to prevent. Seems like a heckuva good deal for me!
Y'all know I am an American patriot, besides being a planetary citizen. It is my opinion that people are committing un-American acts in personally resisting the vaccine, and even more un-American acts by spreading resistance against approved and reliable public health efforts via bleeping social-media engines-- and even, as the story of my former investigative colleague reveals, inculcating that resistance in their children.
