Hayes left his post at the FDA in November 1983 amid accusations that he was accepting corporate gifts for political favors.
Just before leaving office in a scandal, Hayes gave a subsequent approval for aspartame to be used in beverages over the objections of the National Soft Drink Association and Coca Cola for the simple reason that they did not want the further liability resultant from adding formaldehyde to the phosphoric acid in their products.
Phosphoric acid is used to oxidize raw steel surfaces before painting them, as in automobiles before assembly, being dipped in phosphoric acid so as to oxidize the steel so it will not congeal. Phosphoric acid is the prime ingredient in Coca Cola, for example, after genetically modified sugar, and water with God knows what chemicals added to the water.
Adding formaldehyde was just too much, but with the further forced approval of aspartame by Arthur Hull Hayes, the Diet Beverage Industry was born.
Within weeks, cans of diet sodas and other "sweet" drinks were on the market. To help sell Americans on using the artificial sweetener, intense advertising campaigns began programming the public.
In 2020, at least 10,000 manufactured food products and more than 5,000 USA pharmaceutical concoctions have aspartame.
Searle was absorbed by Monsanto in 1985. Rumsfeld received a large tip for successfully strangling the legitimate regulatory processes of the USA, possibly as much as $12 million.
Not surprisingly, the same adverse reactions seen in lab animals in Searle's experiments showed up since 1983 in millions of human guinea pigs.

In his first book on aspartame in 1990, Internist H.J. Roberts MD stated that in 5 to 10 years we would have a plague on our hands if we didn't remove aspartame from the manufactured food and beverages. With the printing of "Aspartame--an Ignored Epidemic" in 2001, Dr. Roberts declared that the world is indeed plagued by a global epidemic of aspartame symptoms.
Dr. Elizabeth Martini, Doctor of Humanities Honorary Degree from a Bible College, has conducted depositions of sick and dying victims of aspartame poisoning since 1992, all of which are available to the International Court of Justice for meticulous inspection, coming from the Joan of Arc of the effort to rid aspartame and its drones from the planet.
To do so, you would need to transport an eighteen-wheeler tractor-trailer volume of evidence in a chartered jet from Georgia USA, and the cost thereof to the already fiscally struggling International Court of Justice, if you are going through the woeful fiscal remonstrations coming from the New York City UN building. Those costs would be prohibitive.
Therefore, I will attach just one statement by Dr. Martini, "How Aspartame is Made", which I believe has been read by 12 of the 14 Justices thus far.
We should be concerned about maintaining and protecting the integrity of this massive compilation of evidence. Because Coca Cola corporation is located in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Martini is continually besieged by cyber hackers trying to disrupt her outgoing and incoming communications, perhaps originating from the Coca Cola corporation, anxious to conceal Dr. Martini's full knowledge of their ongoing depredations, and perhaps the cyber hackers might originate from Donald Rumsfeld himself.
One break-in has already occurred, but the document thieves picked the wrong documents entirely. Dr. Martini is not concerned because all of her documents have been meticulously posted at her cite, the Mission Possible International, in which I cordially invite all 14 of the Justices in the International Court of Justice to be vitally educated.
