Trump should unequivocally guarantee that he will not move to fire Mueller, issue pre-emptive pardons to any Trump associate under investigation, claim executive privilege to prevent advisers from testifying, or ever again attack our intelligence services, law enforcement officials or congressional committees for investigating "fake news" or conducting "witch hunts."
Trump should confess, as President Kennedy confessed after the Bay of Pigs invasion, that on this matter he has made significant mistakes, takes personal responsibility for them, has learned the proper lessons from them and will make certain they never happen again.
