Some local press, yes radio stations and smaller newspapers. Our websites are where most of our partners, employers and volunteers get introduced to our causes. The marking efforts have been completely grass roots to date, as we search for funding partners and hope that our pay-it-forward momentum will boomerang one of these days! There's lots of hope, hard work and a great deal of volunteering to do in the meantime.

I read about you in The November 2010 Giraffe Heroes Project newsletter, which is a treasure trove for anyone wanting to know about people sticking their necks out for the common good. You're in great company. Anything you'd like to add before we wrap this up, Cynthia?
I am quite honored to be mentioned among the amazing individuals in the Giraffe Heroes Project, which is a remarkable organization who is making a great impact on cultivating and promoting community stewardship. Thank you, Joan, for what you are doing to shine light on the good that exists all over the place, especially during these tough economic and social times. There is suffering all around us, but we will take care of each other. I know we will.
The Giraffe Heroes Project is, indeed, a remarkable organization. And you are a perfect fit. You're doing tremendous work. Thanks so much for talking with me, Cynthia. Good luck to you!
