The cost of medical supplies are upsurging, influencing declining health as well.

The quality of the roads are so bad that road traffic injuries have become the second leading cause of disability and the third leading cause of death in the country (outside of COVID-19).

Iran's air pollution crisis has reached alarming levels, with the death toll due to pollution rising to 30,000 in 2023. Tehran, one of the worst-affected cities, consistently reports dangerously high pollution level s, with the city classified among the world's most polluted capitals.

There are many more critical deficiencies of the Islamic in Iran.

c) Iranian Government's Friends: the friends of the ayatollahs are limited to a very small minority of Iranian people. A few of the people of Palestine and citizens of Syria and Iraq are followers of the clergy.

d) Iranian Government's Foes: The rest of the world.

e) Iranian military has strategic vulnerabilities: it consists of just over 100,000 poorly trained revolutionary guards (they are trained for internal security, such as attacking civilians, with less emphasis on advanced conventional military tactics). There are reasonable number of ground to ground missiles and Russian ground to air S300 missiles (contrary to previously reported on OEN Iran does not have any S400 missiles). The Iranian Air Force and Navy are significantly smaller and less technologically advanced than those of neighboring rivals like Saudi Arabia and Israel. The Air Force relies on older American and Soviet-era planes, and the Navy lags behind other powers in fleet size and open-ocean operational capability.

f) Hezbollah of Lebanon: Its leader Sheikh Nasrallah was eliminated by Israel recently. Lebanon's Shia are mostly followers of Khamenei (supreme dictator of Iran). However, Khamenei has not responded to Israel's merciless bombings of Beirut.

g) Hezbollah of Iran: they are zealot followers of Khamenei. Decades ago they had a majority inside Iran. Currently they are a very small minority. They are in the business of intimidation of the public and are hated by the majority of the people. They are responsible for the killing of many Iranian political activists and protestors.

h) Iranian People: They are the recipients of Iranian Governments atrocities, fueled by incompetence and religious fundamentalism. The people have not been permitted to create a leadership or any organization.

i) Iranian Exiles: There are about ten million Iranian people living in many different countries. Personally, I came to the US in 1976. I was back in Iran for a short time in 1988, but if I were to return to Tehran now, I would be hanged in Tehran's airport, for all of my activities.

j) Ayatollah Khomeini and Khamenei's problems with Israel: Khomeini was the first Iranian leader who proposed the idea of exterminating Israel. However, he did not have the means to do anything tangible in this regard. Khomeini appointed Khamenei to materialize this delusional goal of destroying Israel. Since then Khamenei has been trying very hard to create enemies of Israel in Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine and Iran. His followers are responsible for attacks on Israeli territories. He has failed everywhere outside Iran, however losing inside Iran is something else.
