Oh, there's so much more to this tale that couldn't be shared until 2008 when the Ohio heroes saved their state from another GOP assault courtesy of a Bush Republican, computer security expert Steven "Spoon" Spoonamore, who mapped out the route of the votes from Blackwell's office down to Chattanooga with part of this voyage being filtered by a Man-in-the-Middle contraption that transferred the 200,000 vote majority to the candidate desired in that bank building basement if not every den of iniquity throughout the country set up to block the people's will.
This is but one event among many chronicled in brief by Simon, who stood behind the podium with an erratic screen interrupting the presentation that lasted just about three hours. We were all exhausted by the speaker's exhaustive knowledgeability and insightfulness and scientific proof in language we could understand.
We were all exhausted by the breadth of iniquity poisoning our democracy. When I left, Jonathan was signing and selling his book, the 2018 edition of Code Red, which I reviewed in my meandering, long-winded fashion at https://www.opednews.com/articles/REVIEW-Jonathan-Simon-s--by-Marta-Steele-2018_Democracy_Democracy-Destroyed_Democratic-180909-413.html . Read that for more of Simon's insightful analysis and history. I reviewed the 2014 edition, the pilot, at click here. Our focus is Simon, though. Did I mention that he is executive director of the Election Defense Alliance (EDA), which he founded along with Sally Castleman, and others in 2006? www.electiondefensealliance.org is currently out of commission, but keep on traveling there, another "walk through the woods" that will reveal computer and statistical expertise I was unable to discuss in detail herein. Some of these studies are in the appendix to the various editions of Code Red. and for more, Simon tweets @JonathanSimon14 and invites all interested in corresponding to connect with him through LinkedIn, the CODE RED website www.CodeRed2014.com, or by email jscodered2014@gmail.com. There' s plenty. You can purchase Simon's book on amazon (don't mean to plug those billionaires) and the website above, among other venues.
If this article seems hurried in places, it's way overdue, as are results for Simon and his colleagues who have aimed their brilliance at fighting back. We managed to popularize optical scanners but not hand counting of the handwritten paper ballots that we strongly advocate as the only way to accurate election results that express the people's will rather than quashing it.
And we've accomplished more. Read all about it in the various editions of Code Red.
Thank you, Jonathan. I know you're weary, but do write that 2020 edition we're all waiting for. Write it!
