"The politicians are afraid of the people, and they bless each day that they are asleep. That's why the Occupy movement was such a jolt. The real power is that of the rumble of the people. Politicians don't mind if you stay home and don't vote. But they do mind if you vote for a third party."

He warned against focusing just on the Presidential race. He pointed out that the right wing works harder to elect Congress, and doesn't care as much about the presidency. Congress, he said, has too much power, and the people aren't holding onto the reigns.
