In any case, it is already well understood, what is needed "jointly and urgently" to address "longstanding ruptures in our economies and societies" and "a social crisis." There are no unanswered questions about that, which require getting in your private jet and going to Switzerland to talk to other private jet-owners. It is not a "crisis," that's a word for some sudden unexpected emergency, not the result of "longstanding ruptures." And the "ruptures" are not ruptures either: a rupture is a tear in the fabric of something that was once whole. In the case of society, those bottomless chasms are part of a seamless fabric of deprivation and repression called "Feudalism" that has all new labels now. Probably because some medieval barons had a meeting in Davos. If you see design there, it's probably there.
If it ain't busted, you can't fix it, because it's working just like it was meant to work. You have to start over and create something else. Billionaires gathering in Davos, whatever they're up to, are not the humans who can be expected to do anything that will reduce their power or share their wealth, on anyone's terms. The most the rest of us can expect is an entertaining family quarrel. Maybe they won't let the President come, he's so boorish and socially awkward. Anyway they plan to hold this thing in January, when the President will be out of office, and/or barricaded in one of his hotels as the ground floor fills with seawater.
One of the speakers said something like, "The time to be cynical is a little behind us. It's time to look forward. To come to the table and participate!"
Right. Well here's my two cents' worth: put somebody else in charge of resetting the world. Otherwise we're just going to get the reset called "the Blue Screen of Death."
