JA targeted with his hacks, and solicitation of information through Wikileaks, the Pentagon (and its tentacular connections to the Deep State) and the IC and the US State Department. Of course, they targeted him back. The Internet, provided to the world as a "gift" by (D)ARPA, is a battlefield, literally, and they treat it that way, and activity like Assange's is seen as enemy activity. The trick was to sideline and 'decapitate' Assange. When doing it literally proved problematic then they went after his character, calling him a rapist, and saying he had a leaky condom when he forced himself on a Swedish woman, a bullshit feint to suggest that Wikileaks was akin to a leaky condom and that Assange didn't care who and how he infected or impregnated with his narcissistic 'potency.'
Recently we have read through the mainstream media about Havana Syndrome and about directed energy weapons causing life-threatening problems in US embassies and other facilities around the world. The IC has collectively and publicly indicated that the weapons are not being used by our "enemies," presumably meaning China and Russia. But our Middle East friends could be developing such weapons. After all, they have no guaranteed human rights in the kingdoms and emirates, and the US to get around oversight in America could easily be partnering with Arabs to develop all manner of secret weapons. The NSA has been helping the Emeratis develop their own intelligence apparatus in the sands of time. Al Jazeera has reported "a group of former National Security Agency (NSA) operatives and other elite US intelligence veterans helped the UAE spy on a wide range of targets through the previously undisclosed programme - from 'terrorists' to human rights activists, journalists and dissidents."
But what I wonder is whether while holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London Assange was subjected to the directed energy weapons from the post across the street from the embassy. Were other remote weapons used on him? Was he subject to mind control experiments? Is he exposed to such villainy in Belmarsh? JA is a scapegoat who will be used to extinguish the First Amendment and the media's most useful feature as an adversarial advocate for the People, keeping the bastards honest with their journalism.
Edward Snowden, Goat
He really hasn't been heard from in a while. Ed Snowden hasn't written a Substack post for a couple of years. The last one he did write, the only one in a year, just when I (and probably many of the 83K other subscribers, was getting a bit itchy about paying for the monthly subscription fee and getting no food for thought back, was titled, "America's Open Wound: The CIA is not your friend." Well, I don't know about you, but I knew that. He went to town on them. You wondered why. It was an anniversary: "Our glittering nation of laws observes this year two birthdays: the 70th anniversary of the National Security Agency, on which my thoughts have been recorded, and the 75th anniversary of the Central Intelligence Agency." I alway had a heart string thing for Ed, because he was a high school dropout who beat the system by getting his GED, he was like myself a systems engineer (MCSE) -- although I had an MCT and CCNA, and a much-coveted CCDA -- and who had a thing for pole-dancers. I still get hot and bothered when I recall Jamie Lee Curtis 'pole dancing' in a bedpost in True Lies. Of course, my first time at a pole dancing was when my grandmother took me because, I now believe, she thought I was a homosexual (I was majoring in philosophy and writing poetry, sure signs of queerdom) and wanted either to out me or to see if I would tuck a buck into her glitter shorts. I tucked and tucked, for I had a summer job at a union company and felt rich, and grandma was pleased, buying me drink after drink.
Ed revealed what the NYT would not. Stellar Wind. But more importantly X-Keyscore. Ed put out a memoir, Permanent Record, which was quickly a target of the government who sued and won and had the book's profits taken away, leaving Ed with no royalties and the publisher with no sales take, and thus no reason to distribute. It's a great book. Many folks uploaded the book to the Internet Archive where you could read it for free as at a public library. But then it was taken down. Indeed, my access was removed. Today, you can readily get the book in only one place, Amazon, which has ties to the CIA (and so does the NSA). Ordering Permanent Record from them would give the CIA access to your details. Also, Amazon makes a buck.
Ed was only revealing the tip of the titanic iceberg. The government with the help of social media giants and Amazon have collecting vast dossiers on Internet users for years. We each have a permanent record based on our spending and browsing and even places we go (check out history.google.com while signed into Chrome). The question is whether the government has access to mind information it shouldn't have. Ed hints at it. But mind control is here. An initiative of DARPA. I've written about it for The Conversation: "Futurists predict a point where humans and machines become one. But will we see it coming?"
Ed is a scapegoat for whistleblowing. Hell, we may be fighting in Ukraine, by proxy, of course, to get Ed Snowden. The CIA is definitely not Ed's friend.
Who da nex goat? Maybe you? Are you feeling all Maynard G. Krebs? Will you help build a better machine or will you be a cog in the machine? Pass the bong and think about it.
