Will the socialist police protect me from the real people at the top of the socialist hierarchy if they decide I am not ideologically correct? Will you tell me that I don't need such protection from these people because they are my friends?
Jesus said that the greatest among you will
be the true servers among you. I agree. How can a true server be above me in a
power structure? David Zuniga did not need a boss. He needed real friends who
cared about him at eye-level, not from above. But, please, tell me about 'socialist
police' and how they will differ from Lenin's Checka or any other police force
that has ever existed. I really am listening.
And finally I would say that a real shaman in an indigenous community does not
have power due to a hierarchical power-structure. The shaman's power is the
result of the shaman's being a door to needed realities that other people have
extreme difficulty reaching.
The shaman's power is simply the result of the shaman's direct relationship with the other people in the community. The shaman does not have a police-force to protect his power. In that sense the shaman has no power. The people could easily depose or even kill him. And the real shaman desires no such power.
The desire of the shaman is to be a door to deeper reality. The desire of the people who truly respect the shaman is to use that door and grow in consciousness. The shaman is just one member of the community performing a needed task. If the community is wise it will make use of the shaman. If the community is foolish it will either ignore the shaman or distort the shaman into a ruler in a hierarchy.
The only real ruler or power is
Truth/Reality. And Truth/Reality does not need a police-force because it cannot
be destroyed. It can only be ignored or distorted at the ultimate peril of the
people.
Does the shaman really know and tell Truth? How can you actually know the
answer to this question if you do not really seek Truth yourself?
