Speaking of the Bible, what happened to "Love thy neighbor?" "Do unto others as you would have done unto you?" "Insomuch as you have done to the least of these you have done unto me?"
If Jesus Christ ran for political office you would send emails to all of your followers saying that this "long haired Jew is an un-American Liberal running against national defense, tax cuts and welfare reform!" (You might even do a "push poll" in South Carolina implying that he had an illegitimate black child")
You people amaze me. You preach peace and love, yet when a born-again political candidate comes along and says,
"Lets end the war, stop dividing our country, and all work together to make our world better for everybody",YOU start an email campaign saying that he "disrespects the flag" because he prefers not to wear a 50 cent LAPEL PIN???" This is all you got?
The way I see it here's my choices for President (listing only those who have a chance of winning):
#1. A guy that's older than my Dad was when he died and who wants to stay in Iraq for 50 years.
#2. A man who wants to eliminate ALL corporate tax and put a 23 percent sales tax on every item and service that I buy or sell.
#3. Mr. 911 who would give Secret Service protection to his mistress.
#4 A used car salesman who says whatever he thinks you want to hear.
#5. Bill's wife (and primary reason he had an affair with Monica)
#6. A Harvard graduate with the only chance of uniting both political parties.
With either a Clinton or a Bush running our country since the late 80's and the resulting political gridlock embracing our country, Barack Obama is a refreshing choice to get us off the seesaw and moving in the right direction.
You need to accept the fact that George Bush has so badly damaged our country AND his party that no Republican is going to win in November. That means it's either Obama or Clinton. Perhaps you should stop sending out those emails!
