The Flint Journal (Mich)
The Quad-City Times (Iowa) - "October 24, 2004 - This election, we support the candidate who has the leadership to bring America together to support our troops in ways more tangible than magnetic emblems stuck to the backs of cars. We support a statesman who has taken and returned enemy fire in a combat zone. We support a leader whose stellar war record came under fire from those who have none. We believe that after Nov. 2, our divided nation must be rejoined into a whole that can be so much greater than the sum of its fractured parts. John Kerry can provide that leadership."
The Stamford Advocate
The Morning Call (Penn) - "October 24, 2004 - Mr. Kerry has demonstrated a trait of intellect that has been absent and that must be restored to the White House. That is, he is willing to be self-critical, to challenge the rightness of decisions he has made, and to make changes if new information or situations demand it. Mr. Bush, by his own admission, does not do this."

The sheer length of this list and the major players on it is a devastating testament to how this administration's performance has failed to live up to its 2000 campaign hype and has America way off on the wrong track. These newspapers were in George Bush's camp a couple of years ago, but his complete failures in just about every area have forced them to look in a different direction. By the way, in addition to the above list, The Tampa Tribune, a staunchly Conservative/Republican newspaper chose to endorse no one for only the second time in 50+ years.
