I am a long time activist, organizer, writer, socialist feminist, organic vegetarian now vegan, who worked against nuclear weapons with the Catholic Left [I am Jewish] for seven years in the eighties, doing non-violent civil disobedience, including a Plowshares against Trident II, first strike nuclear weapon. I also circulated The Nuclear Freeze petition. For many years after that, I defended the abortion clinics in Brookline and Boston with my body, so that women could get in for reproductive health care. More recently, I was active for thirteen years in the voting rights movement against rigged elections via all the electronic voting machines. Since Fukushima, I am now back engaged in actions against nuclear, this time nuclear power. My mission and vision now is focused on Closing Pilgrim Now [Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, MA, 46 miles from where I live] and closing all nuclear power plants now. I am doing everything I possibly can to rid our planet of nuclear power plants now. I do this for our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and their children - millions of years out and into infinity.
