My guess is, both of those lads may have been rapped across the knuckles once or twice with a ruler. I'll also bet that they came away from their experience with the nuns with every bit the same level of respect as did I.

It's easy for me to imagine all of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet who put up with me, sitting right now in a neat place, looking down at the women who followed them and who picked up their dedication and carried it ever forward.

My bet is, those girls all have smiles on their faces. Some of the more rambunctious ones might even be waving their fists and calling out, "You go, girl!!
