Thomas L. Walsh graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1962, with a degree in Communications/Journalism.
Following a successful thirty-six year business career, he retired to the Teton Valley of Eastern Idaho in 1999, where he works as a free-lance writer.
Walsh wrote a column for the Idaho Falls Post Register for five years, and also does magazine work.
He published his first book, DAMNYANKEE, A WORLD WAR II STORY OF TRAGEDY AND SURVIVAL OFF THE WEST OF IRELAND, in late 2008. DAMNYANKEE is available through Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
He is currently working on a novel of fiction, based in Belfast, N.I., the Isle of Man, and Pontremoli, Tuscany.
Walsh and his wife Wynne Ann both have taught alpine skiing at Wyoming's Grand Targhee Ski Resort for the past decade.
