The LATimes reported this alternative story:
"After police came up empty-handed in solving Rich's case, Republican lobbyist Jack Burkman offered his public relations services, pro bono, to Rich's family. He increased the reward for information to $130,000 ....."There is no politicization here. There are no ulterior motives here. There is no conspiracy theory here. This is a genuine attempt to get to the facts of the case," Brad Bauman, a spokesperson for the family, said.
But Burkman contradicted.
"I don't believe there's much evidence of a robbery."
Rich's father, Joel, interjected.
"There are signs of a struggle," he said. "There's no other evidence to show anything else."
During an interview with the local Fox News affiliate, Burkman said he was approached by a man he believed to be "the first credible lead" in the case.
"Seth discovered that the Russians had been hacking [the DNC], and therefore the Russian government did away with Seth," Burkman theorized.
Meanwhile, the Rich family distanced themselves from the lobbyist's statements. "
This theory assumes that Rich was in a position to know, presumably without anyone else knowing, that the Russians had hacked the DNC (tho it was reported during July in the media), that the Russians did the hacking, that the Russians murdered Rich.
What does not make sense is why, since the claims of a Russian hacking were headline news and everyone on the Democratic staff knew this, Rich, whose job was not in IT security, would be the target. Unless the parents, his friends, decievedand the other workedeceivedabout job, it's hard to understand why Rich was targeted
It is worth noting that the Russian government promoted the theory that the DNC has murdered Rich, and Assange added fuel to the fire under this theory which was damaging to the Clinton campaign.
It is also worth noting that when he was far behind Clinton in the polls, openly asked Russia to hack the missing emails and release them. Shortly after, Wikileaks released more damaging emails.
I wish to float one more theory, my own, not because I believe it is true but because like the other alternative theories, it is unsupported by evidence but has a logical motive and explains the outward appearance of the murder.
It is possible, given the fact that Trump was well behind and needed a boost, that the Trump covert operations team executed a false flag murder, made to look like an assassination (2 shots in the back, the wallet not taken) to pin on on Clinton.
We can surmise that Clinton had orchestrated the murder, one of many on the far right Clinton Bodycount narrative, she would NOT have made it look anything like a political assassination but rather like a random robbery/murder. If on the other hand, Trump was behind a false flag murder, it would make sense to make it look like political murder as the pretext to blame it on Clinton and label her as a cold-blooded murderer and ruin her electoral chances.
