As well as slaves in thought
Then their time and effort is wasted and taken
It has already been preprogrammed and bought
The enslavers are ultimately ourselves
We who do not exercise our inalienable rights
We let culture and tradition program rather than suggest
Then the human mind has no might
To be willing to die for freedom is the price
And few are willing to pay that price
We march off to war for another man's cause
Without deep investigation if that war is right
Do not allow the "boob tube" to tell you what to think
Search out truth and beauty for she must be sought
