Radical Regeneration Pt. 1 - Questions
Our vision can be broader, deeper and higher. This is a problem - a very big problem - and we can do better. In fact, we must do better if we wish to survive as a species.
We tend to accept what is fed to us by the news. We live our lives as if our discursive, verbal mind is all there is, ignoring the richness and intuitive acuity of our own depths. And we often unconsciously settle for our dominant secular, materialist cultural paradigm, remaining oblivious to the wisdom traditions - indigenous and otherwise - that could provide a firm, helping hand and a solid metaphysical base for moving forward.
How many of us are pretending that we are not afraid to venture into our inner depths, in terms of both our darkness and our light? How many of us have not acknowledged and faced our fear, and most importantly, our fear of our fear? How many of us have not availed ourselves of the actual, uncensored information that is available regarding the dire straits of planet Earth, and of our own and other species?
Do we passionately spend time and energy focusing on the news of the day (even that which is presented on "progressive" sites) without expanding our framework to include our planet as a whole? Do we ignore the most evolved sages of this century, who have a tremendous amount to teach us, while we busy ourselves with the details of our everyday life.
How many of us still can't be bothered to research the realities and wide-ranging, radical implications of 9/11?
The same applies to the overwhelming evidence that we are being visited by and encountering beings from other planets, who use energy sources that we have access to and could end the need for gas and oil, as well as wars waged to obtain them.
There is a reason that these issues are extraordinarily pertinent today. That is, our species is at a turning point - and our Biosphere is teetering on the edge of decimation, to the extent that it is now a question whether it will, in the decades ahead, be able to support human (and other) life.
