Simard: I've been looking at the climate models for quite a while. I had a six year grant for a climate change study and I read a ton of stuff and did a lot of science myself. And yeah, I mean, we're getting to a crisis for sure. We see it all around us, with the hurricanes and the droughts and the fires. And it's adding up. It fulfilling that prediction. So how much time do we have? We got to act now. You know, I think we can bumble through probably the next century, but it's not going to be much fun for our kids. Lots of suffering. We need to reduce and mitigate our suffering. And to do that, we need to keep trees in the ground. Right?
