We can seek out teachers of the spiritual path who are more evolved than we are, whether they are fully liberated or not. In doing so, we can regard these beings as mentors and "way-showers"- as well as practicing to attune ourselves to the higher energies they radiate.
Conclusion
Only a changed person can become an effective change agent.
Perhaps we need a crash course in evolving a fresh understanding of reality.
My hope is that articles like this one will act as tiny seeds for the new growth that may create waves of awareness that will be needed as we rapidly move into the future.
