It was the great Spike Milligan who said: "We haven't got a plan so nothing can go wrong!"
But Seriously Folks... in the present situation, when it is difficult to tell mental illness from rational fear of death, it doesn't really matter whether this man is dumber than a box of rocks, or very seriously ill. It's possible that this is an undiagnosed symptom of COVID19. But the man's mental state was already best described as "batshit crazy". I'm going with that, as reason enough to remove a President from office.
This is the man leading America now. Whether he is incompetent, or criminally insane, or both, he is obviously unfit to hold a two-person parade, never mind the world's highest office of public trust.
There are many laws under which a sitting President can be summarily removed from office, if Congress wanted to do so. That's their job: all we ordinary citizens can do is take note.
If there is a reckoning at some point, any elected official who does not pursue such remedies to the exclusion of all other business will be seen as clearly and undeniably complicit. And rightly so.
We must take note that, given the reckless, negligent, racially discriminatory policies that are the direct cause of thousands of avoidable deaths -- thousands, and counting -- this complicity is tantamount to being an accessory after the fact to mass murder.
Such a reckoning now threatens hundreds of elected officials, as well as military leaders, sworn to up hold the Constitution, and to disobey illegal orders. The judiciary is not exempt.
