Don't Sanction Oligarchs, Erase Their Existence Including Elon Musk

The world has sanctioned a hundred plus Oligarchs tied to Russia and Putin, impounding their yachts real estate and detectable wealth. That's a good beginning, but what really should be done is to literally erase their existence-- not kill them, as it appears has been done to two Russian oligarchs, but take away what they have that makes them oligarchs.

Wanna-be billionaires and right-wing self-destructive cult members will worshipfully defend the billionaires existence. The least creative, most imitative, most predictable right wing repartee is to suggest that I am jealous of billionaires. Au contraire.

I believe billionaires and their sycophantic minions are extremely dangerous, perhaps the most dangerous predators on the planet. That includes Elon Musk, the darling of over 80 million Twitter followers.

Musk, who some say is the world's wealthiest man (they also say that of Vladimir Putin) has speculated that he might be bi-polar or autistic.

People with bipolar disorder or autism can be wonderful people who can contribute much ,with their creativity and different minds. But they can also, particularly bi-polar people, become unhinged, with loss of self-restraint or good judgement.

We recently learned that Musk had acquired almost ten percent of the stock in Twitter, making him the biggest shareholder. He made a hostile offer to buy all the shares of Twitter so as to take it private. Musk suggests that he will make it more democratic, perhaps alluding to how Twitter has banned people like Donald Trump.

And I do have concerns about how the big platforms are becoming more censorious. But we already have one social media company controlled by a disgustingly wealthy oligarch-- Facebook and its creepy bully, Mark Zuckerberg.

Then there's Jeff Bezos. One of his main services to humanity is to remind us all that he pays no taxes, which is really an indicator of how fully owned, domesticated and controlled by oligarchs the US congress and Supreme Court really are.

These oligarchs should be characterized as a new form of parasite, along with brain eating amoebae, tapeworms and guinea worms. Instead of infesting and parasitizing one body at a time, billionaire oligarchs infest society, culture, technology, sucking out resources , killing vital parts of the economic ecosystem without giving anything back.

I don't think the parasite analogy works when it comes to assessing the way Oligarchs exercise their power in controlling and manipulating politicians and political bodies. Perhaps a better metaphor would be insects that lay eggs in other insects so that their progeny take over the bodies of the zombified insects.

The onset of the Ukraine war has led to sanctions against over 100 oligarchs. That's a good start and shows what CAN be done. It opens up a new world of possibilities. The world will become a much better place as oligarchs/billionaires are eliminated, one by one, or by the hundred. The last holdouts will be kings, sultans, emperors and dictators. They are potentially the most dangerous and will be the most difficult to debillionairize, .But that's the goal we must strive toward, starting with making the vast majority of people on the planet aware of the danger oligarchs and billionaires present.
