Bloomberg TV reports Trump Pushes Conspiracy Theories About Democrat's Gains
(Image by YouTube, Channel: Bloomberg Quicktake: Now)
  Details   DMCA

It is no surprise that the people who support Donald Trump, half of whom believe the QAnon conspiracy theory, the same birthers who rejected Obama's presidential legitimacy, are now claiming not one, but a bouquet of florid conspiracy theories on how Joe Biden is not the president elect and, that he, the Democrats, the Deep State or the Elite powers that be stole the election. Even among some usually sane voices there are such claims.

Just as Trump encouraged Birthers to deny the legitimacy of Barack Obama's presidency we can expect that this malevolent psychopath to do the same thing to Joe Biden, no matter how badly it puts the US at risk, no matter how bad it is for the country.

More rational heads are arguing that there is nothing wrong with Trump challenging the results if he believes that fraud or anything wrong has occurred. The

The problem is, he said there were going to be problems before the election happened, meaning he was planning on making such claims whether there were problems or not.

The problem is, the claims already charged have been either rejected or they've been non-substantive, like getting the distance an observer can be from counting shifted from ten to six feet.

The problem is Trump is a pathological, psychpathic liar. The people who count the votes are not. Matter of fact, votes are counted with Democratic and Republican observers. There is no history of massive vote counting fraud. There IS history of pre-election voter disenfranchisement and suppression. Greg Palast has been instrumental in exposing those Republican strategies.

Given the propensity for Trump supporters to embrace conspiracy theories, I wouldn't be surprised if tens of millions of them buy into a growing garden of crazy and bizarre conspiracy claims. Some of them are already getting names. . Just because there are lot of gullible, conspiracy theory seeking people out there does not mean that the United States should change the way it operates.

So, Biden's team will move forward and Trump will, in what looks like a particularly incompetent way, level his unsupported charges and accusations.

Trump is a low-life, despicable psychopathic liar. It is realistic to expect him to decompensate and behave even worse now that he's been publicly defeated and humiliated, with people dancing in the street celebrating his defeat.

Yes Trump has the right to bring charges with concrete evidence to court. But it looks like what he's going to do is to whip up his conspiracy addict supporters into a frenzy by holding more of his rallies. We've known that the rallies feed into his perhaps Guiness Record breaking malignant narcissism. So it's no surprise he'll keep doing them. But now, where there are Democratic governors or mayors, there should be total enforcement of rules and policies for Covid-19 safety. Violations should lead to arrests. No more of the flaunting of laws by Trump and his surrogates, sycophants and cult members.

And he and all of his family are sending out millions of emails asking for donations to support the fight. Perhaps that's how he'll pay for the expenses for his rallies. I have a feeling that this fund-raising is a new form of con/grift coming out of the Trump grifter family.

America really needs to heal, but that's not going to happen while these Trump conspiracy imbibers, consumers and prosteletizers shift from claiming Obama is a fraud to Biden being a fraud. We can expect that it will last as long as Biden is president, and most likely there will be new, emerging conspiracy theories about Kamala Harris too. Oh, excuse me. They've already started. What a surprise. One of them is a birther theory. These deserve contempt. The whole movement deserves contempt.

The election is over. The count is in, except for AZ, AK and NC. If the Supreme Court overturns this election, which is a totally different situation than what happened in 2000, there won't be enough 4X8 plywood sheets to protect the storefronts, government buildings and courthouses in America. The Black Lives Matter protests and destruction will seem like a hiccup compared to the volcanic explosion that will erupt. And the absence of any such violence by Trump supporters shows that they really know that it is over and their support of Trump's fraud claims is more cult worship than righteous indignation. That's not encouragement or a threat. It's what will almost certainly happen when Democracy is murdered.
