As if killing more than 4oo people during last three months was not enough .The Iranian prison officials hanged Mr. Mohsen Shekari for entering into a street where someone had stabbed someone else two months ago.

We were waiting for the government to start hanging innocent people, but this was quite painful for the entire nation to swallow. Mr. Shekari's arrest was bogus to begin with. Then they show him on national T.V with obvious injuries on his face indicating that he was badly tortured. He admitted to a bunch of impossible crimes that he had committed. Then he is transferred to a different prison and after the three days of demonstrations were finished they hanged him before sunrise.

This is not the first time that we witness hanging of innocent people. Beginning on the first night that Khomeini took over the country, he ordered killing four of the Shah's generals on his home's roof top. There was no courts, hearings or attorneys. That event set the foundation for implementation of his version of religious law. According to Khomeini and his followers anyone who engages in any activity against the state could be hanged. Since then there has been several killing series in Iran.

The first group were more than 1000 high ranking officers of the Iranian army and The air force, many of whom were not guilty of anything .Probably the most heart wrenching one was the air force officer who was a three star general who had put together the Iranian air force jet plane maneuvers together and had surpassed that of the air forces of the USSR, Israel and the U.S in several air shows.

The next series of his massacres were two years later, all intellectuals, liberals, democrats, religious liberals, communists, socialists and whoever did not accept Khomeini's version of Shiite sect of Islam. These victims were more than tens of thousands of people.

About eight years later he ordered hanging of 4000 political prisoners who had been through trails already and were captives in political prisons, doing their time. All these killing episodes were accompanied by the most brutal type of tortures that I am not able to write about because I will get sick.

After Khomeini finally died and went to hell. Khamenei took over and proved to be a good student of torture and murder. Every few years when people were fed up with the government and start a simple peaceful demonstration, there has been another series of killing of thousands of people, along with torture and rape of men, women and children to make their parents talk.

Last three months has been different, It started by women and there were no politicians or leaders. Every neighborhood of every city has its own leadership. The main body of clergy who had managed to become multibillionaires got out of the country or at least got their family out.

The Chief Ayatollah's poorly estimated the will and hater of the people this time. They were taken aback and as usual ordered suppression of the revolt. However, there is no way that one can sequester an entire country.

Their thugs with different names but all under the umbrella of Iranian Revolutionary Guard corps use the old tactics. They get on their four cylinder motorcycles take large doses of amphetamine pills (Imported from Syria) and run from one city to the other. Last week we could feel the brake in their ranks and internal conflicts. There was a call for three days of general strike. The cohesion of people from all cities of all of the country was amazing.

By the end of three months an approximate 400 people are killed, an unknown number of people are wounded and there is about 18000 prisoners. In an attempt to check the environment they hanged Mr. Mohsen Shekari to start their hanging ritual. However, There has been sounds of outrage coming from every corner of the world.

There is a call for another two days of strikes beginning tomorrow. There is nothing that we can do except writing, demonstrating and hoping that sometime they would give up.
