For years we've tried to get aspartame banned. Dr. Woodrow Monte took the issue of aspartame causing seizures and blindness all the way to the Supreme Court, even though they wouldn't hear it. This is the power of industry we fight. 12 toxicologists also asked the FDA to ban it because it causes cancer. Dr. Ken Stoller and I have tried to get it banned as well as others, like Santa Fean Stephen Fox's legislative efforts in both New Mexico and in Hawaii.

Especially in September, we are asking that everyone write their senator and congressman to do whatever is necessary to get aspartame banned. It won't work unless at least hundreds or thousands write and do their part to insist something be done.
Remember aspartame is in ten thousand drugs, and the FDA had the audacity to allow it in 17 dairy products without labeling. Innocent victims are having a hard time avoiding the poison; even when I was in the hospital, it was given to me and I stopped breathing three times. It interacts fiercely with pain medication.

Cheryl Kempner who is in the documentary: "Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World" is a prime example of what can happen. She did everything right. She told the hospital she was allergic to aspartame and given a hand band "no aspartame". Yet even with this she was given Crystal Lite with aspartame and became a code blue. They had to resuscitate her to save her life. Don't let it happen to you by using the form so they can't say they didn't know. Aspartame causes chemical hypersensitization because is so poisonous. No doubt that's the reason epi-pens are so high and also now becoming unavailable.

It's hard to avoid so writing your letter can help in warning your family and friends. Lane Shore, Mission Possible Chicago, told me recently he has lost 22 members of his family from aspartame. I almost lost my own brother because he was highly addicted. It just happened he was in a hospital in Oregon where Dr. James Bowen lives, and he personally went to the ER and told the doctors that aspartame was killing him. Dr. Bowen is also in "Sweet Misery" and has Lou Gehrig's because of this toxin.
