My good friend Dr Betty Martini (the Joan of Arc of the Ban Aspartame Movement, who incidentally deserves the Nobel Prize for her 25 years of work on ridding the world of this poison!), had this to say about the appointment:

'If the FDA violates its own laws who is left to protect the public?' Aspartame, sucralose/Splenda and Acesulfame potassium (Sunnett) are carcinogens and, therefore, violate the Delaney Amendment.
