Financial and monetary reporter Bill Still broadens his coverage of TPP to include the new Trans Atlantic Trade Agreement, which would, as he puts it "link us to the sinking ship of the Euro." Following up on Still Report #158, reproduced here:
the expanded agreement would basically include most of the world where anything is produced, including low wage, low labor and environmental protection countries like China. As Still reports, any time a corporation's profit is impeded in any way, they could take the offending countries to a court made up of their own lawyers, rotating as judges. TPP and its brethren are indeed Terrible Policies for the People. Still suggests how you can contact your representative to oppose fast-tracking of this bill, so it would, as Nancy Pelosi "pass so we can understand what's in it." - Ed. Scott Baker
Bill Still: As predicted, yesterday, Jan. 9, TPP arrived in Congress, but loaded with a big surprise.
In 1996, we produced the highly acclaimed documentary, The MoneyMasters ( www.themoneymasters.com ).
It predicted the economic events that are just starting to befall this
country. This is now considered THE classic work on monetary reform.
Nobel Prize winning economist Milton Friedman guided us during the
editing process for this 3 hour 23 minute documentary and provides his
endorsement of it on our website.
