They're here because we're there!

They're here because we're there! Â All the complaints about the economy, the deficit, airport security come down to this basic fact:Â U.S. policies around the world are making terrorists. Â

If we approve of endless wars to establish our hegemony around the world, if we support the occupation of other countries, if we want over 800 U.S. military bases in foreign countries, if we condone the use of drones to kill a few terrorists, but mainly civilians, if we continue to supply arms to countries that repress their own people and attack others, if we don't really care what our country does as long as it keeps us safe...then

Let's stop complaining about our economy, our deficit, airport security.  Everything is being done that you want.  And that means you can be proud to belong to the U.S. Empire despite the inconveniences it brings here in the "homeland" or the consequences for the next generation.

If you don't approve of the direction the U .S. has taken us and think that the policies are not in the interests of our country, then it's up to you to make your voices heard  by those in Washington who are pursuing these policies.  Loud and clear because they are kind of deaf to the people's voices.  Most of the noise comes from the corporations who are making money from these policies and from the congresspeople who are getting rich from these corporations. Â

Â

So if you do care, think about it: They're here because we're there! Â
