The link I quoted in my piece this morning has been updated - interesting that the IDF disagrees with the lower figure (query who else would do that) but if one reads the whole article, it still supports my comments - as well as documenting numerous cases of conduct by Hamas that directly contravenes the Geneva Conventions (and don't tell me that Hamas isn't bound by them).
I should add that in no way do I intend to trivialize the loss of innocent civilian life - I am just pointing out that if the allegations of disproportionate force were correct, then objectively speaking, there would be many times more casualties.
