The demonstrations keep on going on . Their intensity is up and down but they do not stop. Last week the oil workers and the engineers of petrochemistry plants went on strike .So did many other businesses. The hanging of the young men with their parents pleading for their lives on national TV scared the people and things slowed down. The ayatollah's henchman tried many methods of psychological warfare to no avail. However , the prospect of hanging from a rope in one of the prisons in Tehran was too much for anyone.
Although the killing of the youth is heart wrenching ,the other events of the last four months have been sweet .Watching a 85 year old ayatollah trembling in his shoes was quite pleasant. Last year at this time the monster was in high heavens and very pleased with being the most feared dictator in the Middle East.Everything changed very suddenly with the killing of a beautiful 22 year old girl from Kurdistan in the bloody hands of the only "Morality Police" in the world.
We have been fighting for freedom for more than 150 years. However, it took the French more than 250 years to start their fifth republic. Although it is quite painful to realize that all of your adult life has been wasted fighting a bunch of piss poor clergymen who have become multi billionaires with the money stolen from your pocket.It is quite vivid that soon ,the clergy are going to be hanging from the same ropes.
The unfortunate part of this dilemma is that the war in Ukraine has taken all of the oxygen .Ukraine takes precedence to our revolution and the European countries and that of North America can not help us the way they have helped Mr Zelenskyy . A defeat against Putin is simply not a choice for western countries. Iran has lost its geopolitical value for the west. They have learned how to live without Iran's oil, and they have put the screws on Iran so tightly that the Iranian government cannot provide the necessary food and medicine for the country. The clergymen who call lying a sin are continuously broadcasting that "everything is going to be just fine by the end of this year" for decades and nothing changes. Just lies after lies. They know well that even their supporters do not believe them any more and their system is on the verge of collapse.
Having to live in self imposed exile is not a nice way of life. However, if there is a solitude in this story ,it is that even if these criminal clergymen last a while longer , all of us know that their days are numbered.
