A huge photo and an article spread across today's front page. Another dead president, Gerald Ford, is eulogized in print.
A sentence leapt out at me!"The only unelected President." A phrase I've heard a hundred times on the air today. Oh, would that it were true, for my world would be a different place! How can we forget so soon, that in the year 2000 a man, named Bush, was not elected to office, but appointed by Supreme Court intervention, at 5-4.
America was disenfranchised that day. Democrat, Republican or Independent, their millions of votes meant nothing, compared to One Supreme Court member's opinion.
In 2004, Bush was unelected again, by voter fraud and fixing in Ohio, (Lessons well learned from Florida, 2000) This has been documented by many studies and the GAO's report on election fraud, not to mention tens of thousands of outraged voters.
They were helped in both instances, of course, by his opponent's quickly rolling over, playing "dead" like an obedient dog hearing his master's voice.
Yes, Gerald Ford drew the short straw after the corruption of Nixon's years. George Bush was appointed to do just what he has done. Nations, Peoples and a Constitution in shreds. Ever widening wars and war profiteering. Far richer rich and poorer poor, the US Treasury looted and given to the cronies and their fronts.
Democrats are now in power, but are already singing the old political song, "business as usual."
We, the People are now a signature away from martial law. Halliburton no-bid concentration camps are stocked and ready. Nuclear war on Iran and the death of civilization is looming closer every day.
Someday, in the not too distant future, in the midst of rising global radiation levels and millions more deaths, we may again hear Mr. Bush proudly boast, "Mission Accomplished."
On the other hand, if we hold the newly elected Democrats to the job of impeaching the unelected and stopping his wars, perhaps we can have a future, and regain our honor.
