Retired teacher and counsellor...father of three children, grandfather of three grandchildren...I appreciate President Kennedy's speech calling himself a liberal; I came out of that world...I believe his assasination foretold the horrible murders of "9-11." I find the term, "progressive," to be ok, but I believe its use is a reaction to the slanderings of the reichwing neocons (republican)and the fundamentalistically oriented christians--of any sect...and as such the term, "progressive" has, for me, a euphemistic "twang" to it...my bio probably needs changing...in order to keep pace with the continuous "morphing" of the terms Liberal and Progressive...but as the lady says in the Movie, "Gone With the Wind,"-and I'm paraphrasing of course-"I'll think about that later."
