I am an volunteer activist who has been doing Direct Action since I co-founded Seeds of Peace at the end of the Great Peace March. Seeds started out as an anti-nuclear organization. We eventually worked on issues such as homelessness, anti-oppression, anti-war and many other issues. We provided food, water, sanitation, peacekeeping and organizational assistance to other organizations doing direct action and peace and other marches.
Ten years later I co-founded Shundahai Network with Codbin Harney and other friends. Corbin was the Western Shoshone Spiritual Leader. Shundahai is an anti-nuclear organization. We worked to stop nuclear weapons in the beginning and then on the nuclear chain, from mining uranium to nuclear plants to transportation of nuclear waste to storing nuclear waste to development of nuclear weapons to the testing of nuclear weapons to the use of nuclear weapons.
In the last few years I have been doing disaster relief with friends. We didn't jump through hoops for the large organizations, we just set up a school bus kitchen wherever we were needed. For the last year I have been volunteering with Climate Ground Zero to stop mountain top removal.
