A large-scale quantum computer, could theoretically break a 1,024-bit encryption. Some leading Internet companies are moving to 2,048-bit keys, but even those are thought to be vulnerable to rapid decryption with a quantum computer should one be built successfully. Evidence suggests that at least on type has already been built in the private sector. It might be a stretch for anyone to claim that the NSA didn't have one.

The country has become the first ever to perform a coup d'etat on the whole world and nobody anywhere is free anymore. So far the people hardly care about themselves, never mind that humanity has been enslaved by the intrusion of their government. However, what will matter to the affluent is that soon enough they will also penetrate the world's financial markets and cause a form of chaos that cannot be unraveled.
