I currently serve as a national team member for MoveOn.org. I chose this activity because it is non-partisan, issue-centric, and much more directly inline with the Progressive values I have held for my entire lifetime. I welcome reasoned debate, but I do not suffer fools easily or well.
One of the greatest losses to the very democracy which is under direct attack these days is our lost ability to discuss things that truly matter with one another. I hope that, with your help, we might change that just a little bit, for the good of all.
I hope that my writing will ignite that debate, discussion and argument which leads both (or all) parties to gtreater understanding, compromise and respect for divergent opinions, actions, events, and activities. If we can agree to walk respectfully to a new reality, we will usually find ourselves very near to those democratic values upon which we can both recognize and appreciate as citizens, not of some political stripe or strain.
