Thomas W. Hill holds a Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from the University of North Carolina. He worked in the defense industry for 30 years as a systems analyst and an astrodynamics physicist. His principal taske included the identification of systems operation problems which can be solved by physics applications. He prepared and delivered briefings at decision-making levels in the federal government and in industry. Hill is now retired and lives on a farm in western North Carolina.
