Elizabeth A. Richter is a long time advocate for human rights within the mental health system and the legal system. Her articles have been published in "Glamour Magazine", "Liberty Magazine", "Psychotherapy Networker", "The Storyteller", "The Hartford Courant" and other online venues. She is the author of the memoir "Songs of the Captive", a collection of essays entitled "Songs of the Captive Unchained", editor of two additional collections of essays entitled "The Very Best of Divorce in Connecticut" and "Even Better From Divorce in Connecticut", and author of a book of poetry entitled "To Babylon".
