The pedagogic strategy of simply ignoring a problem--  like social promotion and increased violent disruption BY STUDENTS-- has worked so well for the incompetents running LAUSD, that administration has now abandoned the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE), that at best (with its low middle school academic levels in Language Arts and Math) was already not a reasonable or accurate measure of whether a student should be allowed to graduate high school with a diploma. what most of these students wind up achieving is a deep seed inferiority complex, when they predictable fail after their bad K-12 education. They wrongfully feel guilty for the crimes LAUSD leadership is continued to allow to commit in setting them up for failure.
