Hillary Clinton expertly ripped the heart out of Donald Trump’s personal attacks on her husband during an interview on CBS’s Face The Nation. The Clinton campaign has learned from the failures of the Republican presidential candidates who tried to take on Trump. Hillary Clinton isn’t going to give Trump the attention that he desperately craves. She isn’t going to allow this election to be decided on his terms. Donald Trump can’t discuss the issues, so he uses personal attacks to throw his opponents off of their game. The Clinton campaign is marginalizing Trump’s appeal by cutting off the legs of his campaign. If Trump can’t use his celebrity and get into a battle of insults, he is going to lose.
