How Many Infants are Killed by Vaccines? A Natural Experiment

This is a geeky article that only a numbers guy could love. But the take-home message is simple: vaccines are killing babies.

It's based on counts of US deaths released by CDC, together with age at death, comparing 2020 with past years.

First, the article shows the big spike in deaths overall.

Then, they demonstrate the focus of COVID in deaths of people over 65 

Then comes the punch line: Deaths of infants under 1 year are way down.

Why might this be true? The authors note that well baby clinics are closed for COVID, and newborns are not receiving the course of vaccinations that have become standard in Western countries. 

The question whether SIDS is related to vaccination has been hotly debated, and the reason there is no definitive answer is that it has been considered unethical to deprive a test group of babies of their vaccinations in order to test they hypothesis. Now the shut-down of health services for infants has provided a natural experiment.

COVID-19 is unique among recent pandemics in that the mortality toll is measurable, real and convincing. It is also nearly certain to be transitory, but that won’t stop the propaganda juggernaut from rolling forward. However, as the saying goes, “the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” What no one would have predicted in advance of COVID-19 is that the extreme lockdown response has produced a natural experiment that actually calls into question the very actions—widespread, mandated vaccines for all–that the infectious disease and public health community have been pushing for years. We should mourn the deaths of the elderly Manhattan nursing home residents but also take heed of the hundreds of avoided infant deaths. Only with that kind of balance will we draw the proper lessons from the pandemic and the lockdowns that have followed in its wake.

Death is the most dramatic, the worst, the easiest to count among the possible side effects of infant vaccination. How many infants are suffering lasting health or cognitive consequences from vaccination? The effects have been hard to separate out, because almost every newborn receives a full course of vaccinations. 31 vaccinations are now standard, most of them front-loaded in the first 18 months of life.
