As House Speaker Mike Johnson faces pushback from a group of his fellow GOP lawmakers, and threats of an ouster on January 2, 'one thing' is saving the congressional leader in the meantime. Vanity Fair special correspondent and MSNBC political analyst Molly Jong Fast submitted on Monday that Democrats are the reason Johnson is able to stay afloat after negotiating with the opposing party to keep the government open.
