During his 2024 campaign, Donald Trump made a concerted effort to distance himself from Project 2025 -- the Heritage Foundation's controversial, far-right 920-page blueprint for a second Trump Administration. Trump obviously viewed Project 2025 as a political liability, claiming that he had 'nothing to do' with it and knew nothing about it. But Trump's critics, including Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, were quick to point out that Project 2025's architects included many of his close allies. |
