The 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks will soon be here. If you've ever had even a lingering doubt about the official story of the attacks, it would really be good if you could write a letter to the editor of your local paper asking/urging/demanding that another, this time truly independent, investigation of the attacks be launched. And send a copy of your letter to your Representative and your two Senators.
The letter need not be erudite or quote chapter and verse. You just need to convey the idea that something doesn't pass the sniff test about the whole story or that you feel that some important aspects of the attacks and the resulting destruction were ignored by the 9/11 Commission.
In preparation for writing the letter, I recommend to you the 15-minute mini-documentary video "Architects & Engineers: Solving the Mystery of WTC7", which is narrated by Ed Asner. It can be viewed on the website: http://rememberbuilding7.org/10/. It is a wonderful video including interviews with many notable scientists and engineers. It should convince almost anyone that the prior investigation stopped way short of the whole body of evidence.

Here's a copy of the letter I'm sending to local papers. This year it's short. I've decided to address the issue by way of the terrible war in Afghanistan.
Dear Madam or Sir:
There are more and more reports of our soldiers and innocent Afghani civilians dying, and of our solders returning home without limbs or with crippling post-traumatic disorders. This doesn't have to be. The Taliban did not plot and execute the attacks of 9/11; on the other hand, former Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Bob Graham recently told NewsmaxTV that that there are significant unanswered questions concerning the Saudis' role in the attacks. It's time to hit the reset button and launch a re-investigation of the attacks so that the perpetrators can be sorted out and the causes of the collapse of the buildings reevaluated as well. It's time to question the official story of the 9/11 Commission and the National Institute for Science and Technology (NIST), whose explanations, under strong pressure from the Bush Administration, of the buildings' collapsing neatly into their own footprints fly in the face of the laws of physics. The war in Afghanistan is not only counterproductive, it is counterintuitive and immoral.
Good luck in the letter writing! Don't worry, "they' won't come after you. I'm still alive and kicking, as is David Ray Griffin who's written 10 books on all the things the 9/11 commission ignored, including a brand new one entitled, 9/11 Ten Years Later: When State Crimes Against Democracy Succeed .
